Over the past 20 years, we've seen not only migration increase, but when i looked over the data, i saw that remittances have also grown dramatically. But this is also a period that we've seen democracy, iine, around the world. If i'm reading your theory at its most simplitic way, it would seem like a contradiction, that remittance should just naturally lead to an expansion and growth of democracy in many countries. I know that this isn't a policy book. You're writing about a phenomenon that exists. It has obvious policy implications.
