Prometheus

The slime in "Prometheus" seems to manifest the essence of whatever species and encounters. It's a great origin story of what the slime is, it's the manifestation of death drive for humans. So every character in Prometheus is kind of, you see the drive, one's a drive for fear, one’s a drive for eternal life,. And then when they encounter the slime, the kind of like eternal zombie like drive, that is kind of like non-utilitarian comes into being.
