Do You Feel That Pull Sometimes?

The view that, o, my actions could be determined ahead of time and id still be responsible for them has always just seemed so crazy to me. Do you feel that pull sometimes, but i've become cold hearted enough that i suppress it? You don't really get any more robust or substantial kind of control by adding in indeterminacy or by adding in lea way, alternative possibilities. So unless you want to be a total sceptic about freedom and responsibility, i think, ah, this is the best we can do, and it's sufficient for being morally responsible for what we do.
