How to Get Languages Out of the Classroom

I was responsible for coordinating visits in a school I was in and we had an amazing Japanese group who came over here. They were just absolutely phenomenal and did a kabuki play and they performed it in English. We got the whole year nine to come along so it was because you don't want this to be an elitist thing. It's about making them see languages as a really positive thing, if you can't get them abroad you mustn't think that there is no other way to do it.
