The argument i always heard growing up was like, well, we can see in scripture that god will use women if the men have been unfaithful. And so like used deborah. And that was a judgment on the men of the time, because none of them were stepping up to lead. That just like that fit in the paradime i had been taught. And so i just kind of accepted it.
