How to Freeze Dry Tomatoes

I'm really trying to think about this summer we're having our eighth baby. And so we have a lot of tomatoes, but I'm trying to think how we're going to preserve a lot of the tomatoes without like basically any effort at all. That's what a freeze dryer is great for that because it probably requires the least amount of work on the front end. But in terms of the actual effort that goes into preserving the food, there's very little that needs to be done. You can do it either way. So you could blend the sauce and freeze dry it that way, or you could slice the tomatoes if you don't, then freeze dry it and then powder it later
