The Railway Car Wreck
This is a different sort of transition era. A transition era of different railway cars not necessarily seem to diesel, but lightweight versus heavyweight. By 1946 the entire consist was air conditioned. You can notice also that it's a mix of lightweight and what are called heavyweight cars. There's a difference we'll talk about later, but it is important in how this train wrecked. I have to say this picture is spectacular. This is honestly very sick. Sick isn't good.
