The Everybody, World-Centric Stage in Human Development

The "everybody-centric" stage is a huge step in human development. It's the idea that everybody's viewpoint is equal, but that itself is a viewpoint. When it chucked those hierarchies, it puts itself in an odd position. You have this super progressive, open-minded friend who doesn't know what to do when they come across something that demands judgment or hierarchy. And so instead of antagonism towards everybody and other people who aren't where you're at, sure you can disagree. Sure racism is wrong, obviously, but you are also meeting people with a love and compassion where they're actually at.
