50% of the LDP has ties to the Unification Church. The church provided personnel staff throughout the years for politicians maybe working on election campaigns and they were able to help mobilize voters, right? Because of followers of the church would vote a certain way. And then in terms of how the church benefited, is it that the LDP having their support kind of boosts the church's credibility?
