The Myth of the Underworld
In Russian myths, any experience of the underworld for it to be quote unquote successful, you come back with something that over time becomes a gift. The image really does seem to be like Christ basically has gathered death into him completely and that he's taken all of death into him and has taken it up to the Father. So I'm such an advocate for beauty. In the mythic underworld, until beauty is expressed, the third part of that endeavor, which is ultimately the return, it hasn't happened.
