Is There a Role for Nurse Practitioners?

I've been fortunate to work for two really great APP supervisors, since I've been a nurse practitioner. Maybe that'll change at some point in my career. Ultimately, education doesn't really make money for the most part. The chance that you can one day hang up your clogs as a bedside provider and start doing 40 hours a week is maybe slimmer.
