Is It Natural to Change Your Product Positioning Over Time?

The Virgin brand has a very clear position. It was around fairness and customer customer centric sort of fair brand wasn't it? And we get that as customers you sort of buy into that that position so I go okay well the airline's aren't fair well I'm going to fly Virgin not only is it not fair but the experience is so much better yeah. So is it pretty natural then for your strategy to change over time in terms of positioning or should you keep something core and the same? That's an age-old debate and I'm 49 and I'm adding a base on what I have proven because I'm not the guru having lived across 200 years  and what does work
