I think we have so many things in our world today that we tend to gravitate towards, oh, this new technology will solve this problem. And it's really identifying and maybe figuring out a different solution. I just feel like we're just overly fascinated with screens. UX is not just about it's not just designing a pretty screen. It's way beyond that. We've seen the evolution of how business rolls into user experience. The industry has perceived UX as growing up and mature. But also the perception that we've created for ourselves is quite interesting.
Joe Johnston inspires us to embrace the superpowers of curiosity and empathy for our users and business owners. He motivates us to always stay curious, and ask why to get to the heart of the problem faster. He encourages us to make sure we use the shiny objects available to us to actually solve a problem.
