The Life and Times of Cornelis Pelsert

Cornelis Pelsert was a Dutch apothecary. He became the highest ranking man on Batavia when it broke up. His business suffered as a result and he had to leave his wife behind. Terentius wound up on trial for his heretical beliefs, so Cornelis decided not to be named in the proceedings which would have resulted in him being prosecuted too.
