The Bisley Boy Myth
Bisley Boy myth is so bogus that few historians even bother acknowledging it. The facts used to support this story are flimsy, cherry-picked and stands against a mountain of evidence that Elizabeth was actually a woman. Bram Stoker first popularized the Bisley Boy myth in his quasi-historical work Famous Impostors. Even Stoker himself seems to admit that the story is bonkers.
