The Blind Story Teller by Susanne Barrent

Before writing the blind story teller, barrant wrote extensively about the roll of language. She asked why is it not possible for the knowledge of language to be partly innate? Barrent defined dualism as the intuitive tacit belief that the mind is ephemeral, distinct from the body. Essentialism is another principle of so called intuitive psychology which is mainly about how we deal with living things. The collision between these principles leads to the perfect storm and creates problems for reasoning about who we really are.
