The Importance of Self Discipline in Game Day Coaching
I think so much of game day coaching is the art of self discipline, which is like of course you can think of 15 things that can go wrong. I'm saying if it's important enough to go in the game with this focus, then throughout the game and then post cam, that's partly what we hold them accountable to. But also to your point there, it reminded me of when a sports psychologist came into my team once and then asked the players, what do you think of when you hear the word red wagon? Obviously you hear of a red wagon. So what you say can have a big impact on them in some context because that's ultimately what they're going to think about
