A lot of companies worry about the vendor lock-in and then I look at you know I work with their teams. They are talking about using this really old C-sharp web framework that's no longer supported. To move away from the web framework they have to rewrite the entire web application. This kind of cost of moving or migrating is exist so many different levels not just at the at your cloud level. If you can move fast you've got good modularity in your codeYou've got good architectures so that things are decoupled which allows you to move quickly and change decisions later on.
