Is it that when an artist dies, their portfolio doubles overnight? That's just an outsiders, i've heard that as an outsider in the industry, whore. One of the amazing characteristics about artisan asset class is you have continuously declining supply. So during an artist's lifetime, they make a bunch of paintings. A when they pass away, those paintings are then owned by collectors,. and collectors eventually don' ate them institutions, and supply declines. The best example is jackson pollic. You look at polycs drip paintings, whh, which i've owned two of and in the past. Si knows markedly well, there's twenty one drip paintings left in private collections. Ah, and...
