Ike is this incredibly hopeful figure in the face of like, supernatural pessimism and control. He's got these really strong characters. Cushner knows what he's working with. Joe is kind of figuring himself out in a way where you don't, you don't like him at all,. His self discovery is kind of driving parts of the play forward. And harper is this interesting balance to prior, where they both get to experience supernatural stuffh but hers is different. Am not tied to any of the theological stuff that prior is experiencing. I want more life. We live past hope. If i can find hope anywhere, that's it. That's the best i can do
