How Do You Capture Effectiveness When You Look at the Numbers?
A number of organizations right now are trying to make the data about the sector and the effective organizations much more transparent. People donate because they know somebody with that condition, or they know somebody involved in that charity, or it's in their local area. So i think ost of the evidence seems to indicate that we donate depending on our own personal emotional response rather than trying to work out financially what is the best option.
