Research shows that money makes you happier up to a point of, I think it was $70,000 in the United States. Then there's 40% left and that's called fulfillment. The fastest way to be happy is to make somebody else happy or find meaning and purpose in your existence. And even the 10%, don't feel guilty about making money. Just make money in a way that brings you joy and then spend it in a ways that bring you joy. Otherwise, you'll be stuck in a computer looking at the stock market and worrying about your blood pressure.
