The rich countries that can afford it, have the technological expertise and of course have the moral responsibility for it as well. There are some existing mechanisms from the United Nations that are used to fund or try to avoid excessive deforestation of the Amazon. Elona: We could learn an awful lot in an easy to monitor situation like Greenland. But Antarctica is the real killer when it comes to raising global sea levels.
