Is This a Story About Baby Boomers?
Bruce, the character who wants to be a missionary, winds up teaching English in Bangladesh for a while and then teaching in the East end. The thing where apparently where he got his act together was it was Bruce. They actually went up staying friends throughout their lives. But it's just a very, very strange story because I feel like moving away from just describing the characters to talking about the sort of bigger picture.
