Love One Another in the Church Well

i believe the opposite of fear is love. So i got to love people enough to tell them the truth that will set them free. For a long time, the church has preached the truth without love. And so we just kind of get confused with the non essentials. How do you think the church can get back to the essentials then? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that.
