Venus is very complicated, tectonically and volcanically, but it doesn't seem to currently have plate tectonics. There's a lot of evidence that future volcanic eruptions are going to occur on Venus. But how often those eruptions take place could be every few months or every 10,000 years. So there's the possibility we might have found the only thing that's happened on Venus in the last million years and we just got lucky.
