How I Got My First Lawsuit Successfully
After leaving morgan stanley, j newman went to eliot management. He was on buying sovereign debt for 22 years before suing the European Central Bank. Newman's first lawsuit won him a $1bn settlement in 1998 but he lost out when his investors found out about it and became afraid. His second suit brought an £800m judgement against Eurozone member state of Greece - which has since been struck off.
