You have to be able to listen to somebody else. Most of what we know about literature, or about great filmr or balleto or music has been taught to us by somebody else. If you're not prepared to open up to other people's thoughts and ideas, you'll never get that. You will live this incredibly sad little life when you just know your only ambition is to be the next margaret thatcher. I think it's kind of affected the way i write myself,. It's kind of got that slightly holywood babylon feel about it, i guess.
