The more people that you want to be close to, the more important it is to take notes. Your memory doesn't care if you care about someone. So in Obsidian, I have a template for people. And part of the template is like location and title and company and links to their socials or that. But I also have a part there that automatically brings up all mentions of them.

Nicole van der Hoeven is a YouTuber, developer advocate for k6, and Dungeons and Dragons lover. For the last five months, she has organized her life inside of task and knowledge management app Obsidian. We discuss how she uses Obsidian for her YouTube creation, Dungeons and Dragons playing, friendships, and consulting. We talk about how many second-brainers overcomplicate their systems. All it is is taking notes.
