Is Increase Revenue a Smart Goal?
There's this acronym a smart goals. It stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time based. So let's say your organization had an objective of being more profitable. Increase revenue is very similar to exercise more. You can increase your revenue by a million dollars a year, or you cauln increase it by one dollar a year. And if i could achieve the goal of exercising more by doing a hundred pushes, a hundred push ups a day. But if i never do push up, then doing one push up a day would achieve that goal - may not make me healthy, but i would technically meet the goal.
