Being able to make a diagnosis is an ego satisfying moment because you made it and maybe no one else did, If it's a difficult one. And so it may be the same satisfaction as being the person who can and does take care of the sickest patient that nobody else will see or who is called to do the high-risk procedurethat nobody else will.
