What Is a Pulp Magazine?
The Bermuda Triangle first came to attention in 1962 when a story appeared in American Legion magazine. In 1964, Vincent Gaddis wrote an article about the triangle that found its way into Orgosi, which is a pulp magazine. Pulps are publications designed specifically to get your attention with the most ludicrous story ideas and concepts. They're printed on the cheapest paper possible that can even just carry ink basically. It's where comic books were basically born. 100%.
