The Lord God's Prayer for the Nation of Israel
In chapter 44 we note that Isaiah mentions this person named Cyrus and this is incredible because Cyrus is going to be the King of Persia but he's not going to be for a really long time. And yet in the end of chapter 45 this is God who says of Cyrus: "He shall fulfill all my purpose" This is before the terrible things happen, so recognize this as what does God continue to do in this book of consolation. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
