The History of Radium
Radium is still used in some medical treatments today, although they mostly phase it out of cancer treatments by like 2015. The most famous death associated with radium is Marie Curie herself but she didn't actually die from radium exposure. Even her cookbooks are still highly radioactive almost 100 years later.
