Is the Republican Party in the Pocket of the Wealth?
The new invostructure law signed by president byden includes almost 50 billion dollars to protect communities against climate change. The primary issue here, as you've probably read, is that historically, wealthy white communities with both higher property values and the resources to apply for competitive programmes receive the bulk of federal grants. If they are awarded a grant, communities are required to pay a share of the project, often 25 % which is unaffordable for most truggling towns and counties.
