Are You Getting a Good Deal on Women's Health?
In the early nineties, a bunch of women's groups got together and said we don't like the way medical research is being done in this country. And men and women are actually physiologically different in variety of ways. It could turn out that if you're not getting a sufficient representation of women, you're not really finding out whether something is really safe and effective for women. Women will not be included in studies because they have their cycles that maketh homonal cycles that make the time of the month more rrelevant for certain kinds of drugs. So it's easie to deal with men. We want t make them deal with women, too. Not completely unreasonable.
