My sister was 12 and I was 13 at the time. We were walking home from school when we saw a man standing next to a large tree. He noticed us and gave us a menacing smile, which made me feel anxious. "I grabbed my sister by the arm and we made a run for it," she says. The three of them hid in bushes until they felt safe enough to head home.
