Cooking is a stress relief and can be therapeutic, says Alise Amin. Try cooking three nights a week to see how much you enjoy it. It doesn't have to be the same week-to-week; make one pot of soup or one set of snacks. There's just so many ways to connect your food that oftentimes when we're ordering from restaurants,. We don't really have that true connection with what we're eating because we didn't see it from beginning to end. But i say, just try it.
