This chapter explores the formation and growth of the Tren de Aragua gang, highlighting its roots in Venezuelan prisons and expansion across Latin America and the U.S. It examines the gang's violent strategies and the influence of Venezuela's political collapse on its recruitment, as well as the U.S. government's classification of the gang as a transnational criminal organization.
