Is There Just a Giver and a Receiver?
The word receive has many meanings, but the two that we're talking about are: one meaning means something is moving toward me and it arrives, or something is done to me. A different meaning of the word is that it's a gift and it's something that I want and I receive a gift that you give. But there's a problem with that. It may be that what I want is for you to rub my back, for example. And so I ask you, will you rub my back,. You're of my back, I'm receiving the gift of you rubbing my back. Yeah.
