Cognitive Biases and Heuristics
I wondered if you could elaborate a bit about cognitive biases. I know you said before that they can often be kind of conflated. And what's a heuristic and what's a cognitive bias, just so that the listeners and viewers can really discern that. Heuristics are ways of condensing deep experiential knowledge into a simple, memorable form. The energy cost of not taking it seriously is radically lower than the energy cost of taking it seriously.
