How to Write a Book as a Co-Author
I love the urgency with which Ruth was writing down her story to her daughter given all of the other things that the characters are going through in that moment. I think it actually made me a much stronger writer because it forced me to clarify what I wanted to do before I did it. When you're writing alone it's basically your ideas and they come out your fingertips. It's all a very internal process where you're thinking through your ideas and then translating them into words.
