Basque culture is in a lot of ways the same in France and Spain. But carnival is a mix of Christian and pagan traditions. It's just a moment where you go out from the last year, wish something really good for the next one. So you dress up, there's music, there's staying up all night. You're at the inside of me. We all have this side in us.
