Immigration Hurts Black People More Than White People
In the 1960s and 70s, there seems to have been a significant improvement in economic progress for black Americans. John Sutter: People are trying to figure out why does it stop? He says studies show that jobs used to be done by African Americans are now being done by immigrants. Sutter: This reinforces the idea that the poor get affected incredibly disproportionately by immigration. It adds to people's perception of race issues.
