Is This a Papyrus Trial?
If this one papyrus were evidence for it, and I argue it is not, if it were evidence, it would be one piece of evidence. We have no literary references to somebody saying, and then Augustus decided to confiscate all this property. So the interpretation of these papari and their contents have kind of come about in that climate. And so again, expecting that Augustus could say, I take all this, why does no one talk about it?
