I'm a Conference Organizer, and I Miss People Really Badly
In general, i am excited for conferences to be back, because it's my job. Organizers keep doing like hybrid events. If your event is hybrid, i can still go, and that was pretty cool. And i could maybe even still speak, if you will let me submit a recorded talk. I love doing pre recorded talks. Hands are like, superimportant for accessibility,. both for people who like actually need accommodations and for general comfort. It is my job go to conferences. But i'm hoping, desperately hoping that as conferences kind of like return to being part of my normal daily job.
