The Importance of Technique

When you first look at it, but you can't help but feel moved by it in some way because that image is speaking to you. You have to realize where it sits in the hierarchy of art. It could be the best technically executed piece, which I've seen a lot of this. But it's just not interesting. The gear will get you maybe the extra five or 10 percent in some very niche parts of photography.
