D&D: The Satanic Panic

D&D was at the, well, up during the 80s, it was what was called the satanic panic. They thought they were satanists around the corner trying to sacrifice the immerse. Perovia is a very dark setting in a sort of dimmy dimension ran by a vampire named Strad von Sorevich. It's my favorite setting and a lot of people's favorite setting in D&D.
