The Second Law of Thermal Dynamics

The reason why life exists is to increase the rate at which heat death is reached. Life creates disorder faster than if it's not there, because that's just the natural part of the second law of thermal dynamics. Freeman Dyson came up with a possibility and it was this idea that you could in theory move have an infinite growth towards entropy. But how do you do that? There wasn't a known mechanism.
