Can Non-Alcohol Hand Sanitizers Induce Antibiotic Resistance?
Non-alcohol sanitizers can last up to four hours longer than their alcoholic cousins. Ecohydra: There's no evidence that directly ties the use of currently approved alcohol or non-alcohol hand sanitizers to increases in antimicrobial resistance. The genetic changes that drive antibiotic resistance are not driven by non-alcoholsanitizers, and the two processes shouldn't be confused.
